Wow, we really watched history today! Officially, the first Republican female VP candidate, Sarah Palin! I think this is really going to turn the tables with this election. First of all, I look down on Obama's campaign for criticizing her. Neither he or his VP candidate have ANY executive experience leading and they're trying to say she has zero experience? They only have legislative experience. I personally think it's more important to have experience running a state rather than creating laws, since the president won't actually be creating laws, he will be running the country. A presidential candidate can talk all he wants about, "Change We Can Believe In" but in all reality, the president can't write up new laws and change everything as soon as he is sworn in. I think it is more important to see what issues the candidate stands for, that way we can get a glimpse of the types of laws he will sign or veto.
Also, Obama's campaign has said that McCain picked a mayor of a city of only 9,000 to be his VP. Ummmm, you left out the part that she is a Governor and commander of Alaska's National Guard!!! Also, what was that about only being a mayor of a small town??? Hmm, I don't think that Americans that live in small towns will appreciate that comment, Obama!!! They are important people too!!
I support McCain and Palin for numerous reasons. Basically, I'm a social conservative and that encompasses many issues such as being pro-life and protecting our second amendment rights.
